LANG consulting has made itself a name in networking for promoting the passive house standard in Austria and Europe. LANG consulting sets major impulses for networking global passive house stakeholders and to make the passive house standard known to the general public.

Günter Lang commits itself globally to consultation services for building and development, strengthening networks of regional and international passive-house stakeholders. Additionally, LANG consulting offers cooperation in transfer and research projects for networking and transfer of know-how.

It was in particular due to the close cooperation with Passivhaus Institut, the establishment and management of the passive house experts network Passivhaus Austria, the establishment and ten years as manager of IG Passivhaus Oberösterreich and IG Passivhaus Österreich that Günter Lang made a major contribution to networking passive house stakeholders worldwide and familiarising the general public with the passive house standard.

Internationally, LANG consulting advocates networking of all global passive house stakeholders and regional and/or national networks with the iPHA - International Passive House Association. The passive house standard can be applied in all climate zones of the world. Depending on the climate zone only different requirements to reach the same targets all over the world - the lowest possible total energy consumption - need to be fulfilled. The PHI Passivhaus Institut Dr. Wolfgang Feist is the central and key scientific interface for this purpose.
